This Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into the Blinkbuggy Terms of Use. The term “Blinkbuggy,” “we,” and “us” includes Blinkbuggy, Inc. and our affiliates and subsidiaries.

The Privacy Policy explains how Blinkbuggy may:

  • use,

information we obtain through the “Blinkbuggy Service.”

The “Blinkbuggy Service” means any website, mobile application, or Internet service under the control of Blinkbuggy, Inc, whether partial or otherwise, in connection with providing an online platform to collect and connect the countless moments that make up your lives to create meaningful stories, all in one place, that can be shared today and passed on to the next generation.

“Personal Information” means information that alone or when in combination with other information may be used to readily identify, contact, or locate you, such as: name, address, email address, or phone number. We do not consider Personal Information to include information that has been anonymized so that it does not allow a third party to easily identify a specific individual.


We collect Personal Information when you:

  • register to use the Blinkbuggy Service;
  • log in with social networking credentials;
  • connect with other Blinkbuggy Service users;
  • connect with other Blinkbuggy Service users;
  • sign up for newsletters with our partners; and
  • communicate with us.

We also collect information, such as anonymous usage statistics, by using cookies, server logs, and other similar technology as you use the Blinkbuggy Service.

Registration and Account Information. You must register to use the Blinkbuggy Service. To register, you may need to provide Personal Information, such as your name, email address, and username. You may also provide other optional profile information, such as your picture and information about your children.

Social Connect. When you choose to connect your social media account to your Blinkbuggy Service profile, we collect Personal Information from that social media website. For example, when you connect your Facebook account, we may collect the Personal Information you have made publicly available in Facebook, such as your name, profile picture, cover photo, username, gender, friend networks, age range, locale, friend list, email address, and any other information you have made public on Facebook. We may also obtain other non-public information from the social network website with your permission, such as the photographs you post and the photographs your friends have made available to you.

Use the Blinkbuggy Service. We collect information you post through the Blinkbuggy Service. For example, when you create albums, post photos from your computer or mobile phone, post comments, or add quotations, the Blinkbuggy Service will collect the information you provide in such submissions, including any Personal Information. When you import photographs or videos from another website to the Blinkbuggy Service, we will collect the photographs and videos you select from the website.

Photo Location and Date and Other Metadata. When you post photographs and videos to the Blinkbuggy Service, they may contain embedded metadata, such as geo-location information and the date it was recorded. You may also be able to add metadata to the photographs and videos using the Blinkbuggy Service.

Making Payments. When you make payments through the Blinkbuggy Service, you may need to provide Personal Information to our third-party service providers, such as your credit card number. We do not collect this information and are not responsible for the privacy practices of the service providers.

Customer Support. We may collect Personal Information through your communications with our customer-support team.

Location Information from Your Mobile Device. We may collect and store your location information if you enable your mobile device to send it to us. Collection of this information may improve the provision of the Blinkbuggy Service.

Newsletter Sign-Up. We collect the information you provide when you sign-up for the newsletters and other content that we may provide along with our partners. Such information may include Personal Information, such as your name and email address and your children’s names and dates of birth. We and our partners jointly collect this information. Our use of the information is covered by this Privacy Policy. Our partners use the information according to their privacy policies.

Cookies, Automatic Data Collection, and Related Technologies. The Blinkbuggy Service collects and stores information that is generated automatically as you use it, including your preferences and anonymous usage statistics.

When you visit the Blinkbuggy Service, we and our third-party service providers receive and record information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, and from cookies and similar technology. Most browsers allow you to block and delete cookies. However, if you do that, the Blinkbuggy Service may not work properly.

By using the Blinkbuggy Service, you are authorizing us to gather, parse, and retain data related to the provision of the Blinkbuggy Service.


We use Personal Information to

  • communicate with you.

We may use aggregate information for any purpose, including for marketing purposes.

Marketing. We may use information, including Personal Information, to provide online advertising on the Blinkbuggy Service and to facilitate transmittal of information we think may be useful or relevant to you.

Sending Newsletters with our Partners. We may use information, including Personal Information, When you sign up for the newsletters and other content we send with our partners, we will use the information to send you such newsletters and content. We may also use such information for other purposes as described in this Privacy Policy, such as to create a Blinkbuggy Service account if you choose to create one or to send you Blinkbuggy-specific newsletters and content.

Aggregate Data. We may anonymize and aggregate data collected through the Blinkbuggy Service and use it for any purpose.

We Use Vendors and Service Providers. We may share any information we receive with vendors and service providers retained in connection with the provision of the Blinkbuggy Service. For example, if you choose to make a paper memory book, we will share the contents of the book with a printing vendor.

Find Friends. Limited profile information, such as your name, username, and profile photograph, may be available to users who are searching for friends on the Blinkbuggy Service.

Displaying to Other Users. The Blinkbuggy Service provides you with privacy settings to control who may see the content, such as photographs and videos, you post on the Blinkbuggy Service and how you share your content off the Blinkbuggy Service. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other users who view and use the posted information.

Social Networking and Other Websites. The Blinkbuggy Service may allow you to share information, including Personal Information, with social networking websites, such as Facebook. We do not share your Personal Information with them unless you direct the Blinkbuggy Service to share it. Their use of the information will be governed by their privacy policies, and you may be able to modify your privacy settings on their websites.

Marketing. We do not rent, sell, or share Personal Information about you with other people or nonaffiliated companies for their direct marketing purposes, unless we have your permission. We may allow access to other data collected by the Blinkbuggy Service to enable the delivery of online advertising on this website, or otherwise facilitate transmittal of information we think may be useful or relevant to you.

As Required By Law and Similar Disclosures. We may access, preserve, and disclose your Personal Information, other account information, and content if we believe doing so is required or appropriate to: comply with law enforcement requests and legal process, such as a court order or subpoena; respond to your requests; or protect your, our, or others’ rights, property, or safety.

Merger, Sale, or Other Asset Transfers. Unfortunately, the Internet cannot be guaranteed to be 100% secure, and we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you provide to us. By using the Blinkbuggy Service or providing Personal Information to us, you agree that we may communicate with you electronically regarding security, privacy, and administrative issues relating to your use of the Blinkbuggy Service. If we learn of a security system’s breach, we may attempt to notify you electronically by posting a notice on the Blinkbuggy Service or sending an email to you. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. We will take steps to delete any such information if we learn we have collected it.
